Fund Raising Continues What has been happening? Well...

I broke my pinky finger trying to put together wire cube shelving.  I do not recommend it.  First I did not think it was broken until I went to the bathroom and put my hand on the ledge. My pinky just did not look right so I put it back in place went to my desk and wrapped my two fingers together with scotch tape.  I was in shock. I messaged everyone I could think of but no one was available.  At about 1 someone was able to come and get me and take me to emergency.  5 hours later I was bandaged up and sent home and was called a badass for putting my finger back in place and taping it together with the other finger.

On May 10th I had surgery to put in two pins to help the pinky to heal.  The surgery lasted almost three hours. Then finally on June 19th the pins were removed

.

It is now the end of June 2023, healing hand therapy and being very careful. It is so weird to have a naked hand once again although I still wear my modified brace or buddy strips in case of bumping and breaking it again.

It has been very slow. Way too many appointments to be in the studio and hustle for workshops. Last two this week tomorrow and Wednesday.

One of the brilliant ideas I have had is to host a BYOC (bring your own craft) Drop In - I am charging $5.00 for wear and tear on the studio.  I also have a kitchenette and washroom on site.  It would be every Thursday starting in July from 11 to 4 pm.

The fundraiser is going on and will continue for every sale from now until the end of the year I will be giving 10% of all sales split between Malan Syndrome Foundation and CHEO on behalf o my niece Daizee.  She turned three this month and has advanced to a seat walker and has been having a great time giving rides to her cousin.

Well I have also been working on a set of flowered cards that can be personalized with a sentiment.

Poppies, Tulips, Sunflowers oh my. Hopping to post them today on both Etsy and Shopify.

Time to move on...have a great day.
